Greg Leasure, 2006: I made it to my life long dream of racing as a professional in 1996 and raced at that level until 1998. Even today I compete regularly on the national curcuit as an amateur and I am currently ranked #1 and #2 in different categories. I've stayed active in my sport and had a chance to create my own nationally selling magazine, BMX WORLD MAGAZINE!!

Dale Holmes, www.daleholmes.com, december 2005: Just got myself a copy of the new magazine BMX World www.bmxworldmag.com for sure its the best race magazine since Snap in the mid 90's. With Kyle Bennett on the cover and interview's with Kyle , Christophe Leveque, and Mike Day its a great read, race reports from all parts of the World and cool color picture's. Go get it if you can, support the magazine's that support racing, for people in the US you can get it at Barn's and Noble. Warwick Wheeler and Craig Sainsbury from Australia are responsible for the mag with Greg Leasure as the main man in the States.

Bart de Jong, www.fatbmx.com, march 2008: The covers of BMX WORLD magazine unfolds. You can see the 2008 March/April cover of the 100% race magazine on your right. That's Kyle Bennett getting the holeshot and the cover at the same time. The inside cover is an interesting (and expensive) place to advertise on. With the unfoldable cover it gives Redline three pages on a prime spot.
The contents page of the latest issue reads the following:
-Insideline 8
-Off-Track 11
-Joey Bradford Kickin' it with Big Black 12
-Days of the Wildman 14
-Now that's a first: Randy Stumpfhauser 16

I've only had the opportunity to read the Dave Clinton interview and that was great. I remember following one of his clinics at our local track in Beek en Donk in 1980. I was ten and that big dude had a beard!
If you're looking for a 100% BMX race magazine there are no better options than this one.
may june 2008
Bart de Jong, www.fatbmx.com, may 2008: If you're an outsider and are wondering if BMX racing is still alive you should pick up a copy of BMX World magazine. The May-June issue has you covered with race reports from all over the world starting with the ABA SIlver Dollar Nationals, the NBL Christmas Classic, UCI SX in Spain, a report on the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, the NBL Coyote nats, the ABA Sooner Nationals and also reports form the European Indoor series (Round 1-6), Pacific Oceania UCI series (4-8) and the ABA Wild West shootout. This issue also comes with a Kyle Bennett Pull-Out Poster for your wall. Kyle is one of those dudes that could pick up a gold medal at the Olympics this summer so you won't be laughed at when you have his poster on the wall. 98 pages of 100% BMX racing is what you get in exchange of $ 5 bucks. The Andy Patterson interview is worth that much.

Bart de Jong, www.fatbmx.com, december 2009: When Snap magazine folded a few years ago BMX racing coverage seemed to be left in the hands of BMX Plus! magazine. But there is more than that if you look around. A little search on Google will get you in the right direction. Spain has BMX A Tope, France has SOUL, the UK has Fastlane, and BMX World is another publication that covers the BMX racing scene. In fact, there's nothing but racing in the mag from the UCI World's in Australia to several UCI BMX World Cup events and the NBL Grands. With the mag focused on BMX racing it might just be the mag to get if all you care about is getting around the track as fast as possible. The product reviews are racing parts, the full page crash section is all about racing spills and also the racing companies support the mag with their ads on the high quality paper. You might have seen the results on the internet already before the mag drops on your doormat but if you're into reading a magazine over watching the internet, I can advise you to contact BMX WORLD mag a.s.a.p.
