www.grindtv.com, 2009: Established in March of 2004 by former Tip Plus/Primo brand manager Greg Walsh, Coalition BMX is a high-end parts and accessories brand based in Rochester, NY. As part of the Mephisto Group, a consortium of businesses which includes Hell On Earth Clothing, Coalition Press, The Industry BMX Magazine and Rustbelt Skateboards, Coalition specializes in innovative handlebars, stems, front and rear hubs, sprockets, pegs, seats, seat posts, seat clamps, hub guards and grips, in addition to a wide range of clothing featuring exclusive art from luminary Rochester area graphic artist Aaron Burto. The brand boasts an eclectic and progressive team which features Joe Rich, Justin Inman, Sean Sexton, Lee Dennis, Joe Riley, Hanson Little, Brett Walker, George Ramirez and Corey Godfrey. New designs, including revised front hubs and stems, plus new pedals and tires, are currently in the research and development stages for Coalition.
2004 Former Primo/Tip Plus mastermind Greg Walsh started his own parts and accessories company, Coalition.
Coalition is a bmx parts and accessories company owned and supported by a group of riders friends and industry experts that are all dedicated to make bmx as good as it can be. From the parts we make to the riders we support and the events we sponsor our goal is to keep bmx in the hands of bmxers bring them together in any way we can, and most of all make bmx stay just as magic, fun and progressive as the day we got into it.

www.fatbmx.com, may 2004: It didn't take long for Greg Walsh to come up with a solid team for his Coalition BMX company. Sounds like more people than Joe Rich and Taj Mihelich have left the Primo team. First products available will be stems and sprockets. Sprocket: CNC machined in Rochester, NY. 1/4 inch thick 6061 aluminum plate.

Stem: Cette potence est en alu 6061 CNC usiné, made in US également avec un angle de 2° et une longueur de 51mm , elle est accompagnée de bagues de réglage de hauteur (vous savez ces trucs tout cons mais bien utiles que tout le monde cherche un jour dans sa boite à outil et que l'on ne trouve jamais) et des butées de câble de rotor amovibles. Son poids: 320 grs et son tarif 82 Euros.

The Taj signature grip will come with low profile zip ties that will help hold the grip in place. Once you zip them in place and cut the ends off, there's no sharp edges at all to hang up on.

Povah stem.
The Coalition Povah stem is made from 6061 CNC'ed aluminum, has a split cap front load design, generous cut outs to reduce weight, ovalized rear fork clamp bolt holes to prevent the bolt caps from getting stuck in the body and includes a gyro plate and spacers. Made from CNC machined aluminum in Rochester, NY. You can trust that Walsh and Povah have taken the time to make sure that this stem is perfect. Available in black only for 1-1/8" forks. Weighs under 11ozs.
Bart de Jong, www.fatbmx.com, february 2005: Etnies Team manager John Povah has many skills. He designed a new stem and let the Coalition crew use it. Instead of calling it the suggested "Olson Twins" stem, it will be on the shop shelves under the Povah-stem name. 150 of them are already made. The stem weighs under 11 Oz. and the logo is etched on each side. It comes with headset spacers, a gyro plate and instructions.

February 2010: CNC machined 6061 aluminum. Updated split cap design with revised cutouts for better clamping power. Cap holes have been recessed allowing a flush bolt. Even more generous cut-outs to save weight. Features a new rounded rear section. Includes hollow hardware. Ovalized rear bolt holes to help avoid bolts getting stuck in body.
