1992
1992 was different in so many ways. First off, this was a two-days weekend bash. Second, a dirt jumping section was added. Third, Stuart paid for some guest riders to come along and ride. Fourth, the weather was perfect. Fith, there was about ten times as many people this year compared to last year.

THE ETNIES BACKYARD JAM 2006 IS GONNA BE HELD AT ICE SHEFFIELD ON 27TH - 29TH OCTOBER 2006. AMATEUR QUALIFIERS ARE BEING SHAKEN UP THIS YEAR TOO. THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COMPETE IN THE BACKYARD JAM IN OCTOBER IS TO ENTER ONE OF THE QUALIFYING EVENTS BEING HELD AROUND THE UK.
2006 WILL SEE THE BIRTH OF A SERIES OF AMATEUR EVENTS LOCATED AROUND THE COUNTRY TO HELP EXTRACT THE FINEST AMATEURS TO COMPETE IN THE BACKYARD JAM. THIS YEAR THE BACKYARD JAM WILL BE GOING NORTH TO ICE SHEFFIELD. THE NEW QUALIFYING SERIES IS EXPECTED TO IMPROVE THINGS FOR RIDERS AS THERE ARE MORE CHANCES TO QUALIFY AND THE BACKYARD JAM QUALIFIERS WON’T BE AS LENGTHY, FOR FAIRER JUDGING.

BACKYARD JAM QUALIFIERS
Sunday June 4th: Round 1, Rampworx, Liverpool
Sunday July 16th: Round 2, Y2Sk8, Peterborough
Sunday August 27th: Round 3, Motion, Bristol
Sunday September 17th: Round 4, Unit 23, Scotland
